Welcome to the Preston Art Society Website

Preston Art Society was founded in 1960 to encourage the enjoyment, appreciation and practice of the visual arts and to develop acquaintance between amateur and professional artists. Meetings usually feature a speaker, demonstration or workshop (and occasionally all three). These take place at Queen's Drive Primary School (Infants Building), Black Bull Lane, Fulwood, Preston, September to May, on alternate Tuesdays, 7.00 - 9:15 pm. Entry charge: Visitors £3.00. Telephone Pam Potter 01772 718144, or just turn up. Life Drawing workshops are arranged once a month on a Saturday (Visitors £6.00, members £4.00). See Calendar for details of times and dates. A Summer sketching programme is also arranged. Two main exhibitions in Spring and Autumn are open to members.
